The House...
This is more for my blog book than anything but since I'm a little behind on putting things in it I have to write it somewhere for now.
So we were fully approved for our loan after much thought and effort on Joshs part. I am so thankful for him because he has put a lot of time and effort into this for us to get a home and I appreciate that so much. The bank asks questions after questions...he has to come up with answers after answers. He has done such an awesome job and I think that we are at some what of an advantage because he does work for a bank and knows a little more than the average joe.
Our offer was accepted by the seller for the Majestic Palm house (the house previously posted). We were told our estimated close date was August 25th. Both of us were very excited but knew that those chances were slim. What we didn't know though is that there was unforeseen problems...
First Problem: Our house was appraised for $112,000. Our accepted offer was $127,000 and that is how much our loan was. However...the bank would not give us a loan that high with it only being appraised for that much. Our real estate agent called the seller and told them the situation and that is when problem #2 came up...
Second Problem: There is a problem with the title. The house has been on the market for almost a year and there is still a problem. There are several liens on the title. They couldn't give us a time line on when they would be removed. It could take a couple days or it could take months. This has been a problem since it was listed. How wrong of them to even list it!
So...we have started from the beginning. We are out looking at houses again. That offer is still pending but we want to have a back up if it just falls through. We have 4 offers out there so we will see. They are nice and we could see ourselves living in them. Some need a little work but nothing compared to what we have seen. I'm sure everything will work out. It is just a process that one shouldn't wish upon anyone.
As i have said before: God will put you where you're suppose to be. The hard part is waiting to see where that is but in the long run it will all be worth it. Even if it happened for you to appreciate what a great man your marrying a little more. Love you.
