Freshman Year 2001-2002

Junior Year 2003-2004

Senior Year 2004-2005

I dont have any from sophmore year...hmmm...don't know what happened?

Take a minute...
Take a minute and think back to the post about the Alumi Choir Concert I performed in for Eldorado. It was posted a few months ago but I was just on facebook and someone had tagged these pictures. It was weird because I am not friends on facebook or even met the guy who posted the pictures. You would have thought I did because there were a lot of me and Eryn. Weird huh? I'm glad that he took some for me though.

The House...

This is more for my blog book than anything but since I'm a little behind on putting things in it I have to write it somewhere for now.

So we were fully approved for our loan after much thought and effort on Joshs part. I am so thankful for him because he has put a lot of time and effort into this for us to get a home and I appreciate that so much. The bank asks questions after questions...he has to come up with answers after answers. He has done such an awesome job and I think that we are at some what of an advantage because he does work for a bank and knows a little more than the average joe.

Our offer was accepted by the seller for the Majestic Palm house (the house previously posted). We were told our estimated close date was August 25th. Both of us were very excited but knew that those chances were slim. What we didn't know though is that there was unforeseen problems...

First Problem: Our house was appraised for $112,000. Our accepted offer was $127,000 and that is how much our loan was. However...the bank would not give us a loan that high with it only being appraised for that much. Our real estate agent called the seller and told them the situation and that is when problem #2 came up...
Second Problem: There is a problem with the title. The house has been on the market for almost a year and there is still a problem. There are several liens on the title. They couldn't give us a time line on when they would be removed. It could take a couple days or it could take months. This has been a problem since it was listed. How wrong of them to even list it!

So...we have started from the beginning. We are out looking at houses again. That offer is still pending but we want to have a back up if it just falls through. We have 4 offers out there so we will see. They are nice and we could see ourselves living in them. Some need a little work but nothing compared to what we have seen. I'm sure everything will work out. It is just a process that one shouldn't wish upon anyone.

My Bridal Shower
First off I can't believe that I am actually posting about my own bridal shower. Secondly, it was the first time that it actually hit me that I am getting married and last but not least we have finally made it to 1 month and some days. It no longer says 2 months :)

My bridal shower was great!! I had a great turn out. A lot of friends and family showed up. There was a sweets buffet that was put together my family, Tanya and Carrie, and Josh's family. With all homemade flower shaped chocolates. Peppermint sticks. Chocolate covered marshmallows, strawberries, popcorn, and pretzels. Cookies. Donuts. Candy. My mom and Tanya made the centerpieces.

During the bridal shower, we played a few games. One was a bridal questionnaire. Questions about me that the guest had to answer. The winner was Aunt Laurie but she was there when we went over all the questions so we gave Aunt Kari the title of the winner. The 2nd game we played was the closest anniversary or birthday to the wedding date. The winner was Maria. She was the only one with an anniversary in the month of October. The bridesmaids put together this cute little poem thing. It was called a pantie line. The girls had several pairs of underwear in the bag and they would read their little tid bit and hang the corresponding pantie.

I got some great gift. A lot of things off of my registry and a couple fun things that weren't. I can't wait to put it all into a house. I was glad that I was able to share that day with those who made it and missed those who couldn't. I can't imagine how fun the wedding is going to be if that was just the shower. Can't hardly wait!!

A Fun Little Weekend
Mom was out of town this weekend which left just my dad, 2 sisters, and me at the house. We had no plans of doing anything really. It kind of turned out to be a daddy/daughter date weekend. It was my dads birthday on Thursday, 7/30, so he took my 2 sisters shopping with him on Saturday morning to buy some new clothes with his b-day money and gift cards. I had a client and was helping my friend move into her new house so I didn't go. Josh and I went over to his house for a little bit that night for a BBQ and decided to go bowling with some friends, Chris and Jessica. I ran home to get some socks, which I still forgot, and my dad and sisters wanted to go. So we all went and met them and Jessica's brother to bowl. The first game wasn't definitely not as bad as the 2nd. Tarin did great though the second. She got her first strike ever and beat all of us.
On Sunday, us 4 went to the pool at Mandalay Bay. It was so nice just to hang out by the pool and not be sweating to death. We had lunch there at this little "beach side" grill they had. We stayed for 3 hours or so but that was enough. The sun just drains you. We talked about renting one of their cabana things they have for just a day. They have TVs in them, fridges, couches, showers, ceiling fans, and beds. My birthdays coming up so maybe we will use that as an excuse.
