L.I.F.E
It is wierd that sometimes your life seems to go by so slow. I am very busy but yet it seems like it has been forever since this past weekend. I know they say life goes by fast so enjoy it but what about these weeks that I just want to get thru and be over with. Tomorrow is only Wednesday. Work has not helped the week be a good week. A new office manager, a lot of new changes, and a lot of angry patients. After work is done for the day, it's bound to get better until you walk out to you car to find a completely flat tire. I ran over a nail. To laugh is the only option. When I get home every night Tauni comes over, we watch a little reality TV, and we work out. There is a good laugh. We get though it but it is quite the scene. Jillian's 30 day shred is not a joke. Barely being able to move after, we lay around for a good hour. Another good laugh...us both beat red on the floor and unable to get up. Shower and then bed. Like I said I am busy all day but the days and week go by so slow. It is just LIFE...i guess.

A Typical Girls Weekend
Movies, Hair Appointments, Waxing, and Dinner.
On Friday I...got to sleep in since I didn't have to work. Went to the bank. Picked up my sister from school. Did my friend's hair.. Caught up on last weeks Grey's Anatomy, and it was very intense and really good for those who watch. Met my friend Kayla and her friend at T.G.I.Fridays for dinner. Came home and hung out with my mom and her friends who were over for a birthday. Got too tired so I went to bed.
On Saturday I... woke up early to go to the beauty supply store and due to cut backs they are not open on Saturdays. Went to Target to get gloves to do hair and a new steering wheel cover. Came home and did hair, had 3 clients. Tauni came over. We went to Macayo's for dinner, our bill came to $10 and some change, never ate at a restaurant for that cheap. We went to Sunset to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, it wasn't as good as we hoped, more of a rental. Came home dyed and waxed our eyebrows. Took crazy pictures of our eyebrows while they were processing.
Today I...woke up to eggs and bacon. Ate got back in bed. Decided to go to lunch and the movies with my mom and her friends, my sister, and my aunt. We went to Boulder Station. Ate at the Cafe. Went to see He Is Just Not That Into You, yeah I have already seen it but there was some good parts I caught the second time that I didn't the first. Am home now. Going to take a nap. Clean my room. And then who knows?!?!?

Valentine's Day
We had a simple valentine's this year. In the morning, I went with my mom, sister, and aunt to get our nails done but after waiting 2 hours I went home. Cleaned my room. Surprised Josh at home. I never come over unannounced. Then for dinner, we went to Lucielle's in the district for dinner with my family since my aunt and uncle were in town from California. Surprisingly the wait was only 30 to 40 minutes. They estimated us and hour and a half but it wasn't nearly that long. After we took them out for a little bit around town and let them enjoy. That pretty much sums it up though. Just a simple valentine's day.

Saturday...
Woke up and got ready, cut Tauni's hair, we went to the mall in the pouring rain to look for a dress, found a dress, went to American Eagle, bought a pair of jeans and a shirt for $3 due to my gift cards from Christmas, grabbed Hotdog on a Stick, went to see New In Town...

It was a good chick flick. I am not sure if any guy would like it. It was pretty funny too. came home, played around on the computer, tried to watch Grey's Anatomy from Thursday but feel asleep, woke up, picked up my room, Josh came and picked me up, went to Raising Canes, went to see He's Just Not That Into You...

So those of you who know me I do not cry at movies but I teared up in this one. Maybe one tear fell out. I have to admit it was funny but bitter sweet a little bit. The movie was packed...really packed. Am now home on the computer, getting ready to go to bed, thinking "is my weekend really over already?", goodnight!

3. You throw your first bridal shower for a friend.
4. You get invited to 2 baby showers 1 of which is your best friend from elementary school.
5. You are soon to attend your first bachelorette party.

7. You begin to hope that you are the next one to catch the bouquet at the weddings.
8. You start thinking about moving out and it's very possible you can actually afford too.

A Girl's Super Bowl Party
So this Super Bowl Sunday it was just us girls since my dad was lucky enough to actually attend the big game. We enjoyed every minute of our Super Bowl "party." We a little had a little food buffet...port of subs sandwiches, chips, dip, and chocolate.

My mom did laundry and a puzzle...

notice the game is on the TV we did watch it all
Tarin did homework and laid around only until she got to bored and went to the movies...
Aunt Laurie laid around cheering on the Cardinals hoping her bet would hit...
if she knew I did this she might just kill me
I read Confessions of a Shopaholic and took a cat nap through the 3rd quarter...
The best part of Super Bowl Sunday was we laid around and did absolutely nothing. Glad my dad had fun but it was different not having any guys around. Not that I would mind the same thing next year!!

Happy Birthday Tarin
For my sisters birthday I took her to Disneyland for the day. I was a little nervous because this was the first time that I was actually an adult figure so to say. Usually if I go out of town my parents are with me or Josh is. I have never had to drive all the way on the trip before. I was very thankful that Jen let me borrow her GPS because there was 2 time were we almost got on the wrong freeway or didn't exit. We had such a great time and I would probably do it again but I would only drive if I had to. This is how the trip played out...
Left Vegas at 5:00am...
Stopped in Baker for breakfast and gas...
Arrived at Disneyland at 9:30am...
Waited in a huge line for tickets...
Went to City Hall to get her birthday pin...
Her pin said that she was turning 14 years old and no one could believe it because of how tall she was. I could not get over how many time she was told Happy Birthday and not just that but how many people were there with the same birthday. As you grow up you always know it as "my" birthday and until you see how many others you share that with it's kind of weird.
Attempted to ride Space Mountain and Indiana Jones...
Both broke down after waiting in line for 15 minutes each. We were up at the front in both. We were given a fast pass for Indiana Jones since it was her birthday and then since it broke we got a fast pass to any ride we chose. Needless to say our 1st hour at Disneyland...wasted.
Finally got on a ride...
Our first ride was Pirates of the Caribbean
Rode some more rides...
This is us waiting in line for Thunder Mountain. We didn't wait in line for more than 15 minutes all day. It was not busy at all.

Found out we missed the Grand Opening of It's A Small World by a few days...
It opens February 2009. We went by though to check out the new boats. Took me back a few years as I remembered it when I was little.
Ate lunch in Tomorrowland...
Went and visited the "New" Pixie Hollow...
This was adorable. I guess it is based off of Tinkerbell's movie Pixie Hollow. I didn't know of the movie until then. You get to meet Tinkerbell and her friends in there little grassland.

Went and check out the "New" Sleeping Beauty attraction...
You can actually go inside the castle now. They have set it up where it tells the story of Sleeping Beauty as you make your way through. Very very neat. I was just excited to walk
through the castle.

Rode on more rides...
Sat and relaxed for about a 1/2 hour because our feet were hurting and we were tired...
Waited for Tarin to go on Star Tours...
I have had bad experiences on that ride and get really bad motion sickness on that ride so I
made her go by herself.
We went to Downtown Disney for dinner...
We ate at the Jazz Kitchen. I experience Benjiets (ben-yays). I pretty sure that's how it's spelled. They are like a square donut covered in powdered sugar. They are sooo good. Also
went through the Disney store so I could take some pictures of her in the birthday hat. She was so embarrassed.
I found this shirt that I really wanted to get. I thought it was so cute. I wasn't going to spend
$30 on a shirt.
Went back to Disneyland attempting to ride a ride...
California Adventure had just closed and Disneyland was packed. No fast passes available on
any ride. Wait time on the good rides were 70 minutes or more. We resulted to Pirates of the
Caribbean having to still wait 25 minutes for that.
Decided to go shopping for a little bit...
Bought a delicious carmel apple and some lollipops for her friends.
Went and claimed a spot for the Fantasmic water show to start...
This was the first time that either of us had seen it. I loved it. We both were just amazed by how the films were projected on the water. We both were bummed that there was no firework show that night. It is only showed on Saturday nights now.
After the show it was 10:00pm and Disneyland closed...
We went to the hotel...
I pricelined a room for us and ended up at the Anaheim Hilton. We were both ready for bed by this point. I had to take a few pictures though because I loved the hardware in the room. This was the sink and I want this one day in my house.
They also had a sliding mirror door to the bathroom. I thought that was different and would
nice to have as well.
Slept for 11 hours and well deserved...
Packed up and headed home...
We made it home by 3:00 in just enough time to go to a Bridal Shower for my friend...
It was the first one I had been to. It was kind of weird since it was actually for one of my
childhood friends.
Came home showered...
Got ready for her actual party...
At 6:00 everyone was here...
We ate pizza, opened presents, ate brownies, watched P.S I Love You...
Called it a night...
The trip was a blast and it's never an understatement that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth!! Happy 14th Birthday Tarin.
