Mini Update:

...House is coming along. Still in the process of course, but are further along already with this one than the last. Have picked out paint and appliances already!! Super excited to move in but kind of bummed the estimated close date isn't until the 10th of November. Hopefully it will be sooner.

...Under 3 weeks to go until the big day. I can't believe I'm only saying days now not months!! Just have the seating chart left and 1 more meeting with the DJ. Those are no biggie though. Is hoping not to get to overwhelmed here within the next couple weeks. I have hair going every night next week and just those little tid bits that will come up. I am pretty sure it will all be fine.

...Went to the USC football game over the weekend. Had an awesome time with the guys (Josh, Ryan, Dad and Joe) We left Saturday morning and got home in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday. What an experience?? Just the campus is amazing. The fans that tailgate/attend are a blast. I told Josh I can't wait to go to Texas. Don't know when that will be but it's definitely on our bucket list. Only thing bad about the trip...Sorry Jodie I missed the shower...it happened to be the same day.

A Day on the Lake...

Today Tarin and I spent our day at the Lake with Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Kari & Jeff, some friends of my grandparents, and my cousin Brandi. We had such a great time tubing. Didn't bring out the skies this time. We swam a lot and ate! Had a great time but is probably the last time for the year since I'll be quite busy here the next few weeks!!!

Crazy Busy!!!

So many things have gone on but I haven't seem to find time to blog about it. Here it is..
1- Went to the Julianne Hough concert with some girlfriends. We ate at Firefly and then headed to Mandalay Bay Beach for the concert!! She was good. It probably would have been better if I knew more songs but it was fun!! Then we all headed to Stoneys and had an awesome time!!
2-Went to the UNLV game last Saturday. It was a great game to go to!! However UNLV fans are horrible. It is so sad. People are only in the game when we are winning. Josh and I were excited because one of our friends from high school plays for UNLV so we got to watch him play for a little bit. The picture below of Josh sitting by himself is actually him waiting for Mike to run out of the locker room. Had an awesome time!!
3-Finally got another offer accepted. We both are not getting ourselves too excited due to the issue we had last time. It is a bummer that it took so long because now we will have to find somewhere else to stay until we move in. We keep teasing our dads that they are going to be drawing straws to find out who we will stay with. It is a cute house in Henderson. Hopefully this is it!!
4-The wedding is getting closer. The only thing left is the seating arrangements. We are just waiting on the response cards to come in. It is crazy how people just dont rsvp. I understand a birthday but a wedding where you are paying per person that is just rude. So Josh will begin to call those who we havent heard of to find out if they are coming next week!!
5-I was bored one Saturday afternoon so I took some new pictures of Tarin. In her room she used to have pictures of her lips, hands, feet, and eyes. She decided that was a little kiddish so we decided to go with some of her favorite things. Her room is purple and lime green so it goes with the theme.
6-Fall TV has begun. I am not quite as excited as my mom in law. But I am excited for Biggest Loser which I loved the first episode, Tool Academy on VH1, and Greys Anatomy of course. Can't wait for Grey's to start!!
7-Went to a bridal event with Tauni and Racquel. We had a blast. A fun girls night indeed. It was a small event with about 10 vendors or so. One of which was my DJ. We walked around got free samples of cake, candy, chicken kabobs, and much more. They had this place there called Las Vegas Style Sirens. They are a group of girls who travel to where every you choose and the are a full service spa. So I did a trial run...make up and hair!! It looked great. It was $100 per person for make up but I was sold. Later that night they had a raffle drawing. Guess what?!? I won a free make up application for my wedding day!! I was super excited. So free make up for the wedding it was awesome. Also won $25 to this bridal store here in town. I was hoping to win the photo booth that our DJ sets up. Guest take pictures at the wedding and they are put in a book and the guest sign it!! I didn't win but we were able to get a sample!!
8-Went to Siena to put the final deposit down!! There is no turning back now. HA HA. Here is a picture of the place!

Just Some Random Stuff
1.) Still teething. It is finally starting to come through to where I can feel it out of my gums. It is probably the weirdest feeling ever. Its weird because it is like I forgot how it felt to get permanent teeth in. Crazy!! Here is a picture. It is the last huge thing in the upper left hand corner. I guess I am kind of obsessed because I was told I didn't have any wisdom teeth. Notice I don't have 3 others that look like that!!
2.) Had an assistant for a day. Jake came to get his hair cut the Friday before school started. He asked if he could work for the that day. I thought about it since Tarin, who I normally pay to help me wasn't there I said sure. I pay Tarin $10 a client and Jake offered to do it for $5 all day and I had 7 hair cuts lined up. So I took him up on it. He was a little over compulsive with the sweeping. Dave gave him a lesson before he left. All my clients loved him. He had a whole resume going by the time he left. All the way from Donald Trumps assistant to Jon & Kate's nanny. He is a crazy kid but was happy when I gave him $10 for the day!!
3.) I turned 22. I had a birthday last week. Josh had an edible arrangement sent to the office. All chocolate covered strawberries and some apples. It was sooo good! Had Dave, Jen, the kids, Uncle Mark, my family, Ryan, and Josh over for dinner that night. My dad made some enchiladas. We opened presents and ate brownies and ice cream. The girls chatted up at the table the rest of the night while the guys watched sports and played rockband. This past Sunday, we had my extended family over for a breakfast. For my mom and my birthday. We had overnight french toast, a skillet of some sort, and sour cream pull aparts for our cake. It was all very delicious.
4.) Celebrated Mom's birthday. We went to Olive Garden for dinner with my family, Ryan and his girlfriend, and Josh and I. The word got out that it was her birthday so they brought us a cake. Looked and tasted pretty good. However the bill came and on it was this cake for $8. It kind of threw us off because we didn't ask for it at all. But whatever. SOMEONE...dad...ate it.
5.) Saw Josh smile soooo very big. The other day he was cleaning out his closet and I hear him scream. I look up and he has this hat on. It had been missing for like 2 years. He blamed his friend for losing it. It was in a backpack of his all this time. He was so excited. I don't think I have every seem him so happy.
6.) Had our first dance lesson. It went well. We need to find more time to practice though. It seems like we are so busy. Which we are but we need to find time.
7.) Put in the order for the wedding cake. Albertsons of all places is making our cake. I got quotes from several people and all were about $1000 for the cake I wanted. A few people were telling me about Albertsons. They said they taste really good and that they looked really good. So I went. Took my picture in. Told her what I wanted. And the final total was $285. SOLD!! I was so shocked. It was just crazy. I couldn't believe it!
8.) Still House Hunting. We can't believe it. It has been sooo incredibly difficult. We look at house after house and put in offer after offer. We still never really hear much back. We both will be so happy and relieved when this is all said and done with!!
9.) We are literally just waiting to get married. Everything is done. We are just getting our response cards in now and then we will be putting the seating arrangements together. That should be interesting. Kind of fun though. I hope. We are 6 weekends away!! It will be here before we know it. And then Mexico here we come!!!
