Josh's Birthday Week...

Is not over yet. On his actual birthday we just went to dinner at Olive Garden. I bought him a pair of cowboy boots but he has had them for a while now. This weekend we are headed to Anaheim to watch the Mariners play the Angels. Its not really for Josh's birthday but everyone gets a birthday week around here so we are saying it is. I can't wait. I have grown to like watching baseball, only live that is! No TV games.
My Boss' B-day

My boss' birthday was yesterday so Sunday after the walk everyone met at the office with bags of balloons. We filled them up and stuffed the room. He loved it on yesterday morning when he walked in. In his 15 years of dentistry at the office he never had anything done like that. Balloons were flying out the door when he opened it. I wish I could have been there. Here are the before and afters:

AIDS Walk

This past Sunday, my work participated in the AIDS Walk. All of our familys came and walked too. I have never done a walk before but I really liked it. It makes you feel good after words. We ended up raising $450 in about a weeks time. There was about 7,000 people there. It was a 2 mile walk that started and ended at World Market Center. They had set up little bands and acts that were going on during the walk, a few booth set up with free samples and raffles before the walk started, a professional photo booth, and jumpy houses. I would like to do it again sometime when its about 10 degrees cooler.

Really?
So I got my first ticket the other day. The cop said I ran a red light when he pulled me over and when he brought me my ticket he told me I failed to yield to a red light during a traffic stop. Who knows? I'm stuck with this ticket and have to pay it.

Some Randomness...

*Last Saturday night, Josh and I were driving by the strip we noticed there were no lights on most of the casinos. I remembered hearing something about this conserving energy thing. What is was was at 8:30 everyone was suppose to participate in conserving energy by turning off as many lights as you can for an hour. The strip was taking part in it I guess. The street lights were on and some, but not many didn't take part. It was just a weird thing to see. No lights on the strip. (no i didn't take this picture)*Yesterday, Josh and I went downtown to watch Kelly Pickler. It was a free concert also starring the Zac Brown Band and LeAnn Rimes. We ate dinner down there while Zac Brown Band started playing and just got done just in time to hear "Chicken Fried." We headed over to the stage where Kelly was going to sing. We waited there for 35 minutes just people watching. There are some crazy people down there. If we hadn't been there 35 minutes before she came on we wouldn't have been able to see. We only stayed for a couple songs because it was just too crowded. *Chris and Tauni's wedding is only a week a way. I am really excited for them and excited to see all of Josh's family coming into town. It has came really fast. I'm not going to lie I am a little stressed out about the hair. Hopefully Tauni doesn't look at this before the wedding but she is the 1st bride I have ever done. I have done A LOT of proms and homecoming up dos but that is not quite as important as a wedding. That's a big part of the day. I don't doubt my self but there definitely is some pressure. I know I am worrying for nothing. It's going to be a long day but I am sure it will be a good time.

*Had the cutest little girl sit in my chair on Saturday morning. She is a family friend of ours and I was dying to cut her hair off. It turned out sooooo cute! I love doing drastic haircuts on little kids. They get so excited afterwards. Here are her before and afters.
