The Weekend Flew By

Thursday...

I went to work of course. Went out with the girls from work. We went to the Blue Martini at Town Square for another fruit and cheese tray. Tried the chicken fingers. They were definitely not as good as the fruit and cheese. Found out our reservations were only until 8pm so we got kicked out. Headed to Stoney's for some line dancing. After a lot of dancing headed home and went to bed.

Friday...

Had to run to the bank. Took Josh breakfast. Got my hair done. The red ran on to the blonde when rinsing and turned pink. Came home and re did the blonde my self. Fixed chicken nuggets for my sisters and I for lunch. Waxed some eyebrows. Took Tarin to open her first bank account. Josh did it for us. He found a Polaroid in one of his drawers in his new office and took an action shot. It was even more funny because my mom asked me to take pictures and it just so happened Josh had it covered. (it looks like an antique)

Came home and took a nap. Josh and I were going to Cafe Rio for dinner but decided on the new BJ's. Went to Big 5 to look for umpire clothes while we waited the 40 minutes. Shared a pizza. Went and checked out the new M resort. It is just like the red rock. Came home and hung out.

Saturday...

Did hair all day. My aunt, my mom, and my sister. All color clients. My sister Kalah was in town so had to get her looking good before she went back. Had a BBQ with some friends and family. Ribs, Chicken, Pasta Salad, Corn Salad, Jello Salad, Baked Beans, Dump Cake and Lemon Squares. It was a good menu for the first BBQ of the year. Watched the end of the Texas game. Didn't end too good. Watched the end of the Lakers/Bulls game. Didn't end to good for Josh. Good for me!! Went to Sheplers to get Josh his early birthday present, Cowboy Boots. Grabbed dinner at McDonalds. Met some friends at Stoney's. Lined danced and 2 step. Headed home and went to bed.

Sunday...

Did a whole lot of nothing. Watched Step Up. Cleaned my room. Hung out at Josh's. Took a nap. Watched Cast Aways. Ate dinner. Watched some more TV and hung out. Went home and went to bed.

...And the weekend just flew by!!!

I Know It's Wednesday But...

I had a pretty fun and eventful weekend and I just haven't had enough time to sit on the computer and write about it. So I know it's Wednesday but here is my weekend:

Friday

Took Josh to work in the morning. On the way we stopped at Winchell's to get Jodie her favorite doughnut. Got to her house found out she had already had several of her favorite doughnuts. Went into work for a little bit while the carpets got cleaned. Transferred from a dental mind set to hair. Had a 2 clients. Picked up Josh from work. Went to Stoneys for some line dance lessons. Went to Olive Garden to eat. Came home and went to bed.

Saturday

Woke up and did my aunts hair. Regretted not taking before and afters because it turned out so cute. Went to Town Square to meet my friend for lunch. We ate at the Blue Martini. They had the best fruit and cheese tray ever. I am not sure what made it so good but it was!! Came home. Picked up some stuff for Tauni's shower. Headed to Jen's. Helped get the house ready. Hosted the shower with Jen. (even though she made me do the games!!) It turned out really nice and was fun. Hung out over there the rest of the night then came home and went to bed.

Sunday

I didn't do much of anything. Just hung out all day. Wishing I didn't have to go back to work on Monday!

Still working out to Jillian's 30 day shred video. It seems to get easier everyday. Our scale is broken over here so I'm not sure if it has been working or not. For those of you who don't know, I don't eat very healthy and I'm sure that doesn't help me get fit. Sometimes my little sister will work out with me. Here is a video I put together with my flip of her working out in fast forward. I told her she had to hurry up because Biggest Loser was coming on and so she put it in fast forward and carried on. I added the music and put together all the clips. She might be a bit embarrassed but here it is:

Last weekend I saw the movie Taken.

It was a very good movie I thought. I little disturbing for me at some parts but definitely not a boring movie.

On Saturday, I spent most of the day with Tauni. It was her birthday so we went to the mall for a little shopping. Then headed over to the bridal shop and got her dress altered. We then went and got pedicures. We had a fun little girls day. Happy Birthday Tauni!!

On Sunday, I went to the NASCAR race with some of my family was in town and my dad, my sister, my aunt, and some friends. It was really cool to actually be there. More fun than watching it on TV. My dad and Aunt really wanted good pictures so they split the cost for an introduction ticket that allowed me to go down on the track when they introduced all the drivers. Got a lot of good pictures but I couldn't tell you who all of them were. I knew that if I took the picture and heard a lot of booing after that it was a waste of a picture. I do know these guys though...
