Just the 2 of Us

Tonight Josh and I went out to dinner at the FIX in the Bellagio. No we don't normally go to these places. Our friend got us a gift card to the Bellagio for Christmas and that is where we chose to go. It was a casual restaurant but I am completely okay with going to Outback for steak. At least I will be getting a good amount for what I pay. It was nice to go though. Something different that we don't normally get to do.

Then we drove over to Town Square to catch a movie. We got to there a little to late because every movie we were interested in seeing had already started and we would have missed the previews. But...by surprise Josh still wanted to go (for those who don't know Josh pays just as much for the previews as he does the movie). We ended up seeing Gran Torino. I definitely recommend that movie. It was very very good. One of the best "dramas" I have seen in a while.

Movie Reviews

I haven't seen too many movies lately but I did see Bride Wars,Seven Pounds and Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

A thumbs up for Bride Wars

It was such a funny movie. Definitely a chick flick though. A typical guy probably will not like it.

A definite thumbs down for Seven Pounds

I didn't care for this movie. It just was weird. He looks just as weird and confusing in this poster as he is in the movie. It was just strange.

A thumbs up for Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I absolutely loved this movie. I was kind of long but worth watching. It is weird to see hoe much our lives would be different if we aged backwards.

A First For Me and The Twins

Last night I gave the twins their first hair cut. This was also the first time I ever gave a first hair cut. They both did so good. There was barely any moving at all and they didn't cry at all!! They looked so cute!!

More Christmas Highlights

The Ugly Christmas sweater exchange. This is the official ugly sweater that was given away this Christmas. My cousin was the lucky one to be the first victim. A tradition started that some one would get the sweater as a gag gift and would have to wear it for the rest of the day. And that's just what he did!!

The Polar Express 4-D ride. When my niece was in town we took her to see Polar Express 4-D. It is a 3-D ride plus a motion ride. It was so cool. The way they put everything together was very creative. If you didn't make it this year you have to go next!

Christmas Season Highlights

My niece Austynn was in town and we took her to Town Square to see the snow and the Chocolate Factory. The snow was soap so it sure didn't taste like snow flakes. Please excuse that huge "snowflake" in the picture.I also convinced my Dad's side of the family to take a family picture. Our last picture was done for my Grandma for Mother's Day in 1997 i think. We have had some additions to our family as well as a loss who we miss greatly.I also managed to get all the cousins in a picture.
