I AM THANKFUL FOR...
*my family
they have and always will be there for me no matter what I do. my parents have raised me
into who I am today and have made sure I have had everything and anything I need. My
sisters for being also a good friend. a friend to go shopping or to the movies with and someone
to talk to. my aunt laurie has not only been aunt but my 2nd mom, one of my best
friends, and my god mother. the rest of my family for all of the memories I have because of
them.
*my boyfriend
he is is one of my best friends who I know will tell me truth when I ask for his opinion, who
will joke around with me to put a smile on my face, who will sing to me in that car, who will
put up with all my nagging, who fits in with my family and is more like my dad than I can
imagine.
*my job(s)
doing hair is definitely my passion and am so thankful for the chance I had to go to school and
to learn what I did. the dental office is somewhere that I have grown to love where I get a
steady paycheck, have a good boss, have met some awesome friends, and have learned so
much.
*the roof over my head
somewhere where I can come and feel safe and belong. somewhere that will always be home
even after I leave. thankful even more so that my parents have provided me with such a
place.
*my car
the first major purchase I bought all by myself and the reliability it has so I don't have to walk
*thanksgiving
for the chance it gives for you to sit back and realize what you are grateful for and the
opportunity to get together as a family and spend time making new memories.
*God
for always listening to my prayers and watching over me. this past week with aunt laurie in
the hospital I know he has been answering my prayers by watching over her and allowing her
to get better.

A Little Freaky
I wouldn't have thought that it would really come true. I was hoping but who would have thought. I started last Monday at the dental office I used to work at before I went to hair school. It is such a relief not to have to look and apply for jobs any more and even more relieving to have a steady pay check. I am so greatful that I was able to even find a job at this time with everything going on. I have never believed in those fortune cookies but I just might now?!?!
So I was cleaning out my purse the other day and I found this fortune that came out of a fortune cookie that was at the Sedillo's house a couple weeks ago and this is what it read:

Better Late Than Never
So it was the twins 1st Halloween this year and I decided to make them the Flintstones. I made all of the costumes except for my Aunts. I was so happy that they fit and looked good on. I can't believe it but these little monsters are already going to be a year old this month on the 18th. It is amazing how fast time goes.
