My time has finally came. I got to yell "BINGO!!" the other night. I won $100 on a double bingo with letter O-72 at the Fiesta. (Yes, I remember every detail) We have decided that is the place to go. They are the only bingo in town that is all paper. Every other places has little computers so people get more of advantage using those because they have tons of cards in play at one time. Hopefully I'll get lucky again!

All Done!!
So I finished the Twilight Series this morning. I vote Breaking Dawn the best out of the 4. It was definitely the longest but it was very good. I am hoping that I wont be disappointed with this movie because the books were really good.
(I think I have done my share of reading for the rest of my life. ha ha)

Angela's Wedding - 09/27/08
Last night my family went to a friend of the family's wedding. It was kind of weird because she used to babysit us when my sisters and I were little. Now she is getting married and it proves that we all are getting old. The only word to describe the wedding was elegant. Just beautiful. She made everything her self. The party favors, the invites, the programs, etc.
They had this photo booth set up out in the lobby of the club house. Every guest took their picture. You could get as many as 15 they said but we had 8 and that was pushing it. What you did was take 4 pictures. You got a copy and the printed out a copy for the couple. As you were waiting for your picture to be developed you wrote a little note to the bride and groom. It was then attached to the picture and the company will put a scrapbook together for with the pictures and the note. I thought that was the cutest idea. I would imagine that it cost a pretty penny though. Also in a week the guest can go online and actually order their pictures if they really liked it.
(That is not my whole family in the picture. We are with another family that we grew up with.)

Twilight - The Movie
This is the trailer for Twilight. I am really excited to see it. I am bummed that this movie is only the first book. That means a lot of waiting for the other 3. Hopefully there is 3 more. I am confused on the release date. On Stephenie Meyers website and Fandango it says 11.21.08 but on the poster at the theater it is 12.12.08. I am hoping for November because it is closer.

This Past Weekend

On Saturday night, we went to the truck races out at the speedway. We tailgates before with hot dogs and hamburgers. That's the way to do it so you miss all the traffic coming in. The races were fun. I had never been to a race prior to this. It was a really close finish so it was worth waiting until the end. After the race they had a firework show but we were in such a rush to beat the traffic out that I didn't get to watch it.
Early, early, early Sunday morning (5:00am to be exact) we went to the Balloon-a-Palooza. We got there early so that we could watch the hot air balloons blow up and take off. I tell you getting a hot air balloon blown up is quite the chore or at least it looked like it. Every balloon was different and there was at least 20 balloons. They also had a whole bunch of booths set up with different kinds of food. There was carnival rides, carnival games, and the traditional corn dog, funnel cakes, and cotton candy.

3 Down and 1 To Go
Just a "twilight" update...

So I just finished this one. This one was a little harder for me to get through this one. I skipped a few parts through out but it wasn't bad by all means. The end though was worth the read and definitely leaves you hanging for the 4th one.
I am excited to get started with this one. I am a little worried because it is a bit longer and like I said I don't read much but I am excited. We shall see...

Mervyns
I have came to the conclusion that I absolutely, 1oo%, hate Mervyns. I guess just the one by my house really because I'm not sure how the other locations are but it is like little Havana in there. They have Mexican music playing on the radio. All of the announcements that come over the intercom are in Spanish. More than half of the employees barely speak English. All the customers don't speak English, except for the 5 white customers through out the entire store. They had a sign up the other day that said "Come celebrate Mexican Independence Day at Mervyns." The special that was going on that day was in Spanish so I am not sure what it said. Walking around the store was a homeless woman with a piece of paper in her hand. She was walking up to people holding the paper out for them to read. I didn't give it enough time to read what it said. And on top of all this the store is a complete disaster. It's not that I am prejudice because I date a Mexican but I just don't think it is right that we live in America and speak English but yet we are accommodating to those who don't speak English. I hope I am as lucky as Jamie and Mervyns will read my blog. Not that I am ever going back but just so they know my opinion. Sorry if I offended anyone.

2 Down and 2 To Go

I just finished the 2nd one. I think it was a lot better than the 1st. I loved the 1st one too but this was a little more intense for me. This one I finished in less than a week. I can't believe how much I am loving these books.

The First Female President
My little sister, Tarin, is running for Student Body President. I am so excited for her. I can't wait to find out how she does. The election is still 2 weeks away but her campaign posters are due tomorrow. I helped her make them today. It's been a long time since I got to do something crafty like that so we had a fun making them. Thanks to a family friend who let us borrow her Cricket machine it was so much easier. I am addicted to the Cricket. I know if I had one I probably wouldn't use it that much but it still would be fun to have. It just made life so much easier instead of having to cut them out. We loved how they turned out. We are hoping that they are not too girly to where they wont attract the boys' attention. We shall see. I can't wait to see how she does. Good Luck T!!

Umm...GROSS!
Ok so this is a really random post. I rarely turn my ceiling fan off in my bedroom. I actually couldn't tell you the last time that was. But anyway...the old fan that was in my room was not bright enough for my room. After 6 years I am finally changing it. When I turned off my old fan today I was so GROSSED out. Check this out:
Yes...that is a layer, a very thick layer, of dust. This is the new fan. I plan on cleaning this one a lot more often. It's a lot faster and a lot brighter. It's was a good change.

Waxing Party #2
On Friday night, my Aunt Laurie hosted a waxing party. We had an awesome turn out. I waxed 23 people and only 3 were family. I was so excited to meet new people and hand out my cards. The girls that attended thought it was the greatest idea ever. (thanks Jodie) They all had a blast. I seem to be getting more organized party after party. I set it all up in our downstairs bedroom.
My aunt had a portable massage table that I used. That turned out to be very helpful after the 3rd person. I just went down the list one by one and ended up doing a total of:

11 Eyebrows
7 Lips
4 Chins
1 set of cheeks
2 Noses
4 sets of legs
1 Bikini
all in 4 hours. I can't wait to do it again. My mom is hosting one in about 6 weeks for her and her friends. I will have more "fun" pictures then. Maybe some leg and brows?!? I just took the nose ones of my family because I wasn't really comfortable asking strangers to take pictures of them being waxed. I didn't want to creep out potential clients.

1 Down and 3 to Go!!
Thanks to the Jen I have decided to read The Twilight Saga. My mom got me the first one and the Sedillo's got me the last 3 for my birthday. I just got finished with the first one...
I finished it in about a week. I thought it was really good. When and if I read, I normally read autobiographies so to read this a little different. Surprisingly, I have enjoyed it. Jen said after 20 pages I would be hooked and I was. Now I am on to the second one...

I'm glad I got all 4 though. That way I can just move right into the next one and not have to wait.

Way Overdue

So I'm way overdue for a update so here it goes:
My Birthday: I turned 21 on Monday the 25th. We had breakfast on Sunday morning with all of my family at the Omelet House. Service was horrible but it turned out to be a good time still. On my birthday the daycare kids threw me a little party. My mom had one more present for me to open so we opened presents, sang happy birthday, and had brownies.

I went out with Josh and our friend Eric that night. Anytime with those 2 is a lot of fun. Tarin did my hair. It looked so good.
Thursday I went out with some girlfriends to Stoney's. I rode the bull and we line danced.

Friday I went with my Mom, Aunt Laurie, Aunt LeAnn, and Uncle Nick to play bingo. I know it's weird for someone young to want to play but I my aunts promised that when I turned 21 we would go. It was a a good time. They even announced my birthday in front of the whole Bingo Parlor. Pretty embarrassing. That concluded my birthday week.
Barry Manilow: My friend Nicole got tickets for free and asked if I wanted to go. I had mixed emotions about going because I knew that he was a legend but his constant smile and skinny legs creeps me out. The show ended up being really good. He is a good singer and a very good entertainer.
My Mom's Birthday: Her birthday was yesterday but we started the birthday week(end) on Friday. Some of her friends meet up with us after Bingo for dinner. Then on Saturday my Dad treated her to a pedicure and lunch. Yesterday, we had the family over for lunch and cake. All of which was very good. You know your a true mom when you ask for a deep freeze and a kitchen strainer for your birthday. My sisters and I ended up getting her a purse. She is a huge purse fanatic so I thought that would be perfect. I had it made through Costco. (courtesy of Jen's photos). She already got compliments on it.
