A Day @ the Park

Today LeAnn, the twins, my mom, my sister, my cousin, and I had a picnic at the park. We had fried chicken and potato wedges for lunch and then dyed Easter eggs. We had a lot of fun. It was such a great day for a picnic. Here are some pictures of the fun:

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Last Saturday my family went to the St Patricks Day parade in old Henderson. I didn't realize how much of a small town feel it had. Everyone just sat on the curb on Water Street and watch the parade. It was like the old towns you see in the movies. It was a good parade but it lasted almost 2 hours possibly the longest parade ever. Here are some pictures:

Look @ those Hot Mamas

Her cowboy hat was green too!!

My Dad says he is going to drive an old Impala like this next year @ the parade.

I think Rob & Big forgot to bring their horse.

This picture is for my Aunt LeAnn. Count your blessings!

I think these guys think they really are Luke Skywalker.

Just Waitin'

I took the state board test on Tuesday to get my license. I am pretty sure I passed. The test was a complete joke. The people administering the test talked on their cell phones the whole time it seemed. There was only 8 other girls there and only one other girl was from my school. I have to say though as much as I hated that school they really prepared us for this test. The other girls there were very unprepared. At least I got something good out of the 17 grand I paid to go there. Now I just sit and wait for my license to come in the mail. They said 7 to 10 days before I will know anything. My fingers are crossed!

Our Trip to Disneyland!

Last weekend Josh, my mom, Ryan, my little sister, and I all went to Disneyland. It was my graduation present from my parents. We left late Thursday night and came home on Sunday.

The first day we rode all the big rides, ate churros, ate frozen bananas, ate cotton candy, at dinner at ESPN zone because Josh was having withdrawals (the hotel didn't have ESPN), watched the firework show and ate more churros, frozen bananas, and cotton candy.

The next day we rode all the rides in fantasy land, ate frozen bananas, ate churros, watch the parade, ate turkey legs, ate corn dogs, ate chips, ate carmel apples, ate dinner at Tony Romas, watched the electrical parade, ate churros as we stood in line for the Finding Nemo ride, and watched the bird show in the Tiki Room.

On Sunday we left, fought the wind all the way home, sat in traffic for about an hour, met up with Josh's family in Victorville (they were on their way to Disneyland), and drove and drove some more.

It was a really quick trip but we had a lot of fun. As you can tell we ate a lot but I am pretty sure that is what a vacation is all about especially Disneyland. Here are some pictures we took:
